Born in Sao Paulo Brazil, 1963. Since 1979 I have been involved with Rose Crux, Rajinesh, Buddhism, Alternative Communities, etc... As employment in my native country, I worked as marketing surveyor for Gallup Institute, RPM and political surveyor for the News Paper, Estado de Sao Paulo, but at one point in those days, I became self employed and start to sell imports in wholesale. I always liked arts, alternative movies, concerts and music festivals, museums, etc... School I attended as far as College, and by the time when Krishna Consciousness came on my way I stopped. However, I do love to study, when in San diego, California in 2003 I again attended 1 year College on Academic Writings, at Palomar College. Nowadays I am taking some classes on Video Editing; hopefully I one day I can produce something worth to watch.
In 1981, when traveling in Brazil, (Rio De Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Bahia, Brasilia) I met Hare Krishna devotees, who gave me an invitation to go to Rio de Janeiro's Temple. There I met Loka Shastri Das, the Temple President (kind of local Pandita of those days), who defeated my impersonal, empirical ideas. I stayed in touch with devotees in Rio until the celebration of Govardhana-Hill and then left to Minas Gerais Temple, where I took initiation from Hridayananda Maharaj in 1982, and lived in the temple for 4 years, working as Pujari, guest reception, book distribution, and preaching projects (with Swamis) at Colleges.
1989 Left Brazil to Europe, where visited Krishna Temples, in Portugal, Spain, France, Belgian, Holland, England and Ireland. In England, I stay for 3 years between Bhaktivedanta Manor, Leicester, London and Birmingham Temples.
First time in India was 1991, next 1997, and then 1998. In 1992, I met my ex-wife Revati Dasi. In 1997, met Srila Bhakti Promode Puri Maharaj, who was a great Vaishnava that passed away in 1999. Bathed in the Radha-Kunda, Shyama-Kunda, my son was born in Florida, and in addition, the year was the same year of my first arrival in USA.
In America, I traveled through different temples, communities and States; Cities, such as Florida (Miami {Coconut Grove}, Daytona Beach, Orlando {Disney}) New York ( New York City, Up State New York), West Virginia (New Vrindavana), Pennsylvania (Bethlehem, Bangor, Blue Mountain, Pocono Mountain). Texas ( Dallas, Huston), New Mexico (Albuquerque), Arizona (Tucson), Nevada (Las Vegas), California (San Diego, Palomar Mountain, Long Beach, Laguna Beach, Los Angeles, Venice Beach, San Francisco, Badger, Visalia) and nowadays Hawaii, Big Island {Hilo, Puna, Pele-Volcano, Honokaa, Waipio Valley, Waimea, Waikaloa, Kona, Hawi}).
I actually traveled cross-country from California to New York, twice, 2002 and 2004, so I had the chance to stay in beautiful National Parks. At the moment I am in Hawaii, and I think that everyone deserves to stay here at least once in a lifetime.... Hare Krishna!
